3 Beauty Favorites

Salam :)

I wanted to share a few favourites with you. With no further ado, let's move on to the reviews!

Oatmeal. Yes, oatmeal. As surprising as it may sound, it has awesome moisturizing and soothing properties. I learned about it from beauty blogger Bubzbeauty. When I first tried it, I didn't think much of it and put it aside. That was until I woke up with dry, itchy, irritated skin -- extremely attractive, and it seemed like all the soaps I was using just aggravated it. I remembered oatmeal, and what a relief! After a week of using it, my skin almost got back to normal. Who would've thought a simple, everyday product could work better than expensive soaps?

I love bright/deep colors and the fun and drama they can bring to the face. But I have to say that the neutral girl in me find them a bit intimidating. Nevertheless, when I saw the Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable lip pencil in Rendezvous, I had to pick it up. I'm glad I did: it provides soft, buildable color which compliments my skin well. It has a strange pepperminty smell to it, which  I'm not a huge fan of, but it's still  a great find :)

This is another lip product, which is ironic, since I'm not huge on lips as far as makeup is concerned. I've had MAC's lip pencil in Whirl for a while now, it was originally bought to pair with a matching nude lipstick. Interestingly enough, I ended up tossing the lipstick and keeping the pencil. It used to serve me as a base for other lipsticks/lipglosses. One day, I tried it on its own, and it gave me that clean, polished, my-lips-but-better look. The only downside is it's not really moisturizing, even with a lipbalm on, but hey, a girl can't have everything, right?

Let me know what your favorites are :)

LOL my hands are acting cray these days, if you knew!

And didn't oatmeal clog your bathtub? I'm sacred of sink clogging, so I just rinse it out in the shower!
