Getting To Know Me=)

For some reason, this article was deleted, I had to re-write, re-edit and all, which literally took days for me to do the first time, but anyways, there you go!

Salam=)

Haute Muslimah just featured an article with a few questions about herself, I actually thought of doing one before, but she got ahead. Let's follow her lead ladies and gents=)

Where were you 3 hours ago? I was in my living room sleeping the heck out of me LOL.

Is there anything pink within 10 feet of you? A lady's shirt on TV=)

What are you wearing right now? I'm wearing a dress from Mauritania that my aunt gave me. It's long, A-lined, with short sleeves, and with detailing on it. I love it so much=)

Looking like little boats and dried shrimp hehe

What are the colors of your bedroom walls? The upper part's light yellow, the bottom part is dark blue, with a yellow/blue/silver line across. It might sound crazy, but it's really cute=)

Who is the last person you sent a message or comment /BBM? My friend Ly-Sing.

What does your last text message say? In French: 'Je c pas encore, jte tiens o jus'; in English: 'I don't know yet, I'll keep you posted'.

Can You Taste The Difference Between Pepsi And Coke? Yes, Coke tastes fizzier and less sugar-loaded, even though we all know it IS sugar-loaded!

Is your hair curly or straight? None of the two.

What is the hardest thing you ever had to do? I don't know, alhamdulillah, I've never had to face any tragedy yet.

Favorite 2 color combination? I don't know, I'm not the kind of girl who has favorites, I like several color combos. Nowadays, I'm more into combos that are less obvious and matchy-matchy. Black and white are a classic, black and tan are cool, greys/neutrals and rich colors/brights are my new thing.

What is your favorite accessory? Jewels, especially bracelets and earrings- even though they can't be seen with some of my hijab styles=)

Which current celebrity's style do you admire the most? I don't admire, I like- Kim Kardashian, she dresses kinda chic and trendy without overdoing it, she wears clothes that flatter her figure without them making her look tacky. Also, I've been watching Ghost Whisperer, and I noticed how modest, cute and figure-flattering Jennifer Love Hewitt's look was, but that's on the show, I don't really know her personal style.

What is your favorite fashion store/shop? I like Zara, H&M, alongside French stores. Online, I like Top, Asos and Sarenza.

When was the last time you drove out of town? I don't drive, I have no driving license. Last time I went out of town was last Friday, I went to see a shaykh with my parents.

With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
Miguel's song, the TV, my washing machine.

What is the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning? Fajr time already? Subhanallah!

Favorite Food?
Foodwise, I like everything. The only things I don't like are plain cold/hot milk, dried fish, plain boiled potatoes.

Biggest turn off? I don't like rudeness, ignorance, arrogance, hypocrisy in people. And dirty bathrooms make me CRINGE!

What was the last thing you bought? A farecard.

What do you always have on you/wear? Stud earrings! I feel like a boy if I'm not wearing any.

What does your screen name mean/ how did you come up with it? Dieynaba's my real name, I just added 'Ms' for miss. So that means that I'm single LOL

Favorite style of top/blouse? I like tops with a mandarin collar, and simple tunics with interesting details to them.

Favorite TV show? I don't have any favorite show, but the show I've been digging these days is Glee- you can sue me if you want to LOL but I find it entertaining and fun=)

What is a favorite TV show from your childhood? The shows I used to love were French shows, but mostly cartoons, called Père Castor, Princesse Sarah, etc. Oh, when I was around ten, we had cable, so I would watch cartoons like Recess and Art Attack. These were the good times, I feel bad for today's kids, who have to grow up watching crappy TV. 90s shows were a lot better!

What does your dream bedroom look like? I don't know, I guess a good room would be not too small and not too big, with light colors, a big window, and with a dressing room attached to it=)

Unstamped images are from the Allure, Seventeen and Zara France websites.

GLEE!! And why don't you drive?

I don't drive because I need to take driving lessons first, provided by driving schools.

In France, you have to be 18 years old to subscribe to driving schools, and subscription costs an arm and a leg, around 1,300$! In order to pay for it, people usually work. So yeah, I'm not rich yet LOL
